Third Skill - Level Appropriate Stats
Jul. 1st, 2011 12:16 amOkay! At the end of my first play through of ToA, here were Luke's stats:
Lvl: 73
HP: 5138
TP: 390
Physical Attack: 1361
Physical Defense: 582
Fonic Attack: 388
Fonic Defense: 406
Agility: 481
Enhancement: 48
Luck: 83
Now, obviously! Most of this is well above human, so it will be power capped. However, it does mean he is physically at the power cap limit in just about every area. However, I will be keeping his stats relative to each other. So he is not suddenly as good at Fonic Attacks as Jade just because they are both capped by the power limit. His PRIMARY STRENGTHS are definitely in Physical Attack and Defense, with a butt load of hitpoints and okay agility. He has SOME PRETTY GOOD magic/magic defense but other RPG characters or characters whose THING is to be really good at magic will still definitely be better.
However, this does mean that he won't really have a problem with individual monsters (in groups they will still be an issue).
Notice that! ToA lacks a strength category. While Luke is definitely stronger than most people, he isn't 'RPG strong', because ToA doesn't really work that way. He can't punch holes in the ground (unless it's part of a Strike Arte, which he needs fonons for), or lift cars over his head. He is on the muscly side and can do what muscly people can, but he doesn't have super strength even with his crazy RPG stats.
HE CAN HOWEVER run up trees and do wall flips and and bounce around between tree branches and jump like eight feet straight up and shit like that tho.

Getting frustrated at Natalia trying to teach him to read

There isn't much to say about this one. It is a scene from the anime when Luke is very young (1ish). Natalia is trying to force him to learn to read again when he can barely talk, and he calls her annoying and shoves her away, then looks upset that he actually shoved someone and did something bad. Natalia meanwhile is just happy that Luke finally called her by her name again 8'( But since it is SUCH AN OLD MEMORY Dawn didn't get a lot from it, just that Natalia was trying to make him read and he didn't understand and was upset by her pushiness.

Second Skill - Albert Style Sword Artes
Apr. 30th, 2011 11:37 amBasically, Luke fights in the Albert Style. There are no actual artes included in this. Much like how Luke starts the game and knows how to fight, but has to acquire his arts separately, his Strike Artes in another skill. However, he will be able to do basic sword fighting now! Which is pretty much everything he can do in the game without pressing circle.
Note that he is still, statwise, about level 10. So the local monsters will still be a hassle for him, as will fighting anyone on who isn't equally depowered. But his SKILL in swordfighting is pretty high.
