Memory Sixteen
His mother begging him to keep a diary like the doctors say.

Basically a headcanon memory of something Luke mentions happening, which is that the reason he keeps a diary is because his mother nagged him. Doctors told her that maybe keeping a diary would prevent him from losing his memory again, so it became a lifelong habit. In this memory Luke is young enough that he can't write properly yet, but he DOES know that his mother is ill and makes herself sick worrying about stuff so GOD FINE I WILL DO IT DON'T GET SICK OVER IT 8T was basically his cranky little kid response.

I'm not going to write everything out, since I played this fairly recently and know basically what all Luke got out of it. But there are a bunch of segments that contain a lot of overall info so!
Learned/Effects:
Overall, this means that Luke is more broken, as far as making healthy life choices for himself. But also more capable of enduring the results of that, because "I don't deserve any better and I accept that and still have to make the world better for everyone else" is actually a great help in managing through severe depression. =|b
