SUGATA'S TRU FEELINGS ON WAKO BEIN' HERE

He doesn't know Dera and Devin are doing better now! But if he did he would be SUPER RELIEVED as it's been a fairly large stressball for him. Both because he doesn't want Devin to die and because he doesn't want Dera to kill. And maybe because it means that his advice was helpful so he was not worthless for a little bit.

But since he doesn't know that he just sort of things it's a sad cluster fuck. You are both really good people but you can't see it! He isn't actually mad at Dera for being mad at Dev anymore, because Dev's attitude kind of tested Luke's patience too and he understands Dera has a much harder time with anger. But the whole thing is just SO STUPID o9"!! And even if Luke hasn't actually conceptualized it he does have a ~sense~ of the fact that Peridot and Ruby could be great allies if they ever stopped being enemies, and Dera and Devin are pretty vital to how things turn out.

DERA'S OPINION ON DERA VS DEVIN =3

Nothing very strong. A new guy who didn't piss him off and understands the value of names! Generally positive. Elliot also thinks it is good he arrived with his sister so neither of them are alone. Since he is one of the few people Elliot really 'recognizes' he will make a point to check up on him in a knight-like capacity if he sees him around.

REVERSE?

HIS TRUE FEELINGS ARE PRETTY MIXED, leaaaaning negative except for whenever he is actually around wako and then it is like WAKO IS HERE ♥ and he leans positive instead.

On one hand, Sugata has no real positive feelings toward the island or his home so there isn't a sense of 'Wako belongs there and not here'. If not for the danger games Sugata would be TOTES FINE with Wako in Aather!

On the other hand, there are danger games and the idea of Wako dying like. Breaks something. Inside him. And he tries not to think about it but his auto reaction is I WILL RUIN EVERYTHING I HAVE HERE IN ORDER TO PREVENT THAT and it is not. A thought he likes. Because he really LIKES what he has here! For the first time in Sugata's life he has more than one focus than Wako. But Wako is still PRIORITY over all other priorities and it is a problem. Wako being here is not only a danger to Wako but a danger to everyone who he cares about who he would sacrifice FOR her, and... a danger to the nice things he has made for himself.

FINALLY. While Sugata is happy to be around her, it isn't really necessary for him. It is an ADDED BONUS, but Wako is as much of an ideal as a person to him. He revolves around her, and he can do that no matter where she is. Granted, there isn't ANYONE Sugata couldn't function without, but Wako is the only person who he needs to be okay. Where she is doesn't matter \o/ As long as she is okay. Her feelings on him don't matter, as long as she is okay. He doesn't have a lot of memories of her but since he got back her birthday memory it sealed that sense of 'I have looked out for her my entire life and SHE NEEDS TO BE OKAY' pretty solidly in him.

So yes in short basically IT IS DANGEROUS SHE SHOULD GO HOME BUT IT IS NICE TO SEE HER 8|;; I HOPE I DON'T HAVE TO KILL MY TEAM TO PROTECT HER ONE DAY I WOULD FEEL SUPER LOUSY ABOUT IT.

Breeaaak's feelings on Reim.

Okay so, up until recently he just wanted Devin to GO AWAY FOREVER and was of the mind that killing him would get that end, so it was cool!

The turning point began in the last skill game's endgame where he A) figured out that Peridot and Emerald had been in his memory of the warehouse Mukuro "died" in and B) was told by Asuka that nobody had believed he could want things for his team. And later that evening Devin came over specifically to try to cheer him up! There was really nothing at all in the conversation that Dera could latch onto as a trap except in a really, really paranoid "He is lulling me into a false sense of security!!1" kind of way. And Devin seemed to think he was crazy for thinking Devin thought poorly of his feelings towards Ruby which was another point in his favor! Basically it just seemed like such an honest reaction at a point when he was still sensitive to the subject that it was able to somewhat overcome Dera's initial impression that Devin is an affront unto all things.

He doesn't really like him yet, but he doesn't dislike him anymore either. But he thinks the rest of Aather has this horrible opinion of him, and he doesn't want the burden of that kind of dislike to fall on Ruby because of him so his concious reason for dealing with Devin is because more friends = better time in bad games for Ruby! But really he's begun to enjoy talking to him because they are both fanboys of all things paranormal and awesome. :B FINALLY HAVE A THING IN COMMON!!!

So far pretty good! Elliot didn't try to sugarcoat anything and was generally upfront and honest and Ikki appreciated that a lot. Also UNDERSTOOD THE IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY and really, he didn't annoy Ikki or piss him off (directed at him anyway) and it was generally a really good first impression. He'll probably seek Elliot out as opposed to other knights for knightly things.

He also doesn't remember Reim -- though he does know the name -- and it is weird because Break remembers everyone!11 so far. I assume this will change drastically after Reim yells at him after memories 8| s-sigh. Because it isn't that he DOUBTS Reim so much as there isn't anything that says BELIEVE THIS PERSON IS URRR FRIENNNDDD so he's ambiv.

Pretty much the same, yes, with some slight change to account for gender stuff and blahblah more desire to protect girls.

I. Okay I read PH totally out of order! I sort of skipped around looking for interesting stuff, and ended up on an arc with Elliot in it! ONLY i didn't really... care about him at the time so I read for the plot and ended up reading moooooooost of chapters 30-most recent canon. While I enjoyed Elliot that whole time he wasn't really special to me UNTIL i got to the most recent canon arc which is like SPOILERS EVERYWHERE and was like HUH. ELLIOT SURE DID JUST FALL INTO MY APP PATTERNS 8|a

So I decided to reread all of his stuff to see if I was interested in him, and only THEN did I go back and find Elliot's actual intro! And here 8is the thing, as awesome as EVERYTHING ELLIOT DOES IS. His most awesome thing is his intro! In the first chapter he comes off as a funny but fairly typical tsundere rager who yells at Oz over stupid things and is generally an asshole. Then is given slightly more depth by the fact that he chases after Oz and saves him from THE BAD GUYS even though he hates Oz's house. But still yanno. Not that unique!

What sells EVERYONE on Elliot is... this! The context you need to understand is that Oz has an epic existential crisis to rival Luke as his worse, only he wears it with a smile. He gave up on his life having any value years ago and just sort of floats along determined to not be affected by anything, even his own death, because whatever he was never meant to exist anyway and everyone would be fine if he disappeared \o/

And it's like. Elliot seriously just YELLS OZ'S EXISTENTIAL ISSUES INTO SUBMISSION. And he doesn't like Oz. This is just something he does for someone who has done nothing but tick him off since they met!

Later on there is this follow up, where what Elliot says catches up to Oz but he translates it to "I SUCK FOR ALL THE REASONS HE SAYS I SUCK I SUCK EVEN MORE!!" and has a break down and Elliot just sort of. Brushes it off the table without even noticing.

And that is how Elliot in one encounter beat the main character out of an existential issue he has had basically his entire life \o/ After that Oz starts moving forward and starts finding himself and stops allowing other people to try and murder him. He also becomes a flowery uke for a very confused Elliot for forever.

SO THAT HAPPENED. AND IT IS ACTUALLY ELLIOT'S INTRO BUT I READ IT LAST AND IT SEALED MY LOVE FOR HIM FOR FOREVER and then other things happened that are spoilers.

Bobby's feelings on TEAM.

I AM SO EXCITED YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW EXCITED. I put his app in pretty much as soon as thirds were announced, and it would have been earlier but i had to roll on AJ for a while about allowing thirds. I've been working on icons semi-daily for over a month! I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM i will hit 1k very quickly.

SO. IKKI. THREE RPS. WHY?

Hmmmm... Luke feels closer to Mukuro! And more okay with being honest with him. But that is as much about Luke just breaking as it is about anything they have said or done. Still, Mukuro is actually suddenly the easiest person for him to talk to on the team. Mukuro doesn't take a lot of energy when he isn't out causing problems, and Luke hasn't been UP FOR dealing with more energetic teammates since he shattered. Mukuro sort of fluctuates between making him feel better or worse, but it's not something Luke minds.

He doesn't really know where he stands with Mukuro though, he assumes it is still pretty low. But he also realizes RUBY stands high, and so Luke gets the benefit of that regardless of anything. As much as Luke doesn't think he DESERVES NICE THINGS he is really grateful to have Ruby that just doesn't care and will keep him anyway.

Also he thinks Mukuro is pretty insightful and that is helpful.

BECAUSE IKKI IS MY SOUL ANIMAL AND MY FOREVER SHOUNEN. I honestly wasn't going to app him into Aather! IN FACT I WAS CONSIDERING REIM, TBPH. Or someone else from PH! But we have an amazing Kazu who I love bouncing Goku off of, and then everyone in chan one night was like YOU SHOULD APP IKKI DO IT and then Dera was like I'M GONNA APP YAYOI :D and I was doomed. But I really do enjoy playing him and playing kind of different aspects of him, and I think playing him in Aather will be so much fun because it's not all MURDERDEATHCAVE as Sabra is (though I do love murdercave) and I want to see how he'll develop differently over here.

BOBBY LOEV TEAM. At first it really was just a team in the strictest definition for him. Yeah he was the adult and was looking out for some kids, but there was less connection than now. AND THEN KIDA SHOWED UP AND NAMED HIM DAD :U And over time it's just grown from that into this familial feeling. It's definitely not as intense as it is with the Winchesters in canon because they haven't been through that much! But it is a Thing. Kunzite is his kids and he will do right by them!!

He does think most of them are wholly capable of handling themselves. :|a He doesn't worry at all about Natalia for example. And Sharon he thinks has all the mental will she could possibly need, and she's getting fighting lessons!!1 Is proud of her for that (but still going to keep an eye on her because lolo little girl) And his only concerns with Shin and Kanji are their difficulty communicating and impaired sense of self confidence respectively. Kidaaa he thinks is mentally stronger than Kanji, but at the same time he's noticed the kid's got some issue with his past that he won't talk about because he's a dumb teenager. 8U He's concerned about him in the long run, especially if his memories keep bothering him. AND THEN THERE IS KAWORU who he is concerned about in the short term with his nonemotion thing, but trusts will do just fine in the long term since he is trying to learn and adapt to what he doesn't or can't understand.

So overall he thinks the team as a whole is very strong :|a And also they get along super well and all look out for each other and help compensate for each other's faults. They just function really, really well together. FEELS LIKE HE LUCKED OUT |D

Does Luke have any thoughts on Mukuro and Dera's relationship of encouraging Dera to be terrible?

Uuuuuuuuuugh. SO MIXED AND CRANKY.

On one hand, HE IS DEAD, and he isn't upset about being present because it is better than being dead! He isn't against the overall cause at all, and after Guy explained things to him he can even understand that as much as it sucks, bringing people in from other worlds might be the only way left to save this situation. He hasn't thought in a broad enough scope yet to ask why the hell the world got in this shitty situation in the first place, but when he does he'll probably be cranky.

ON THE OTHER HAND, HE THINKS BOTH BEAUTY AND MALEFICENT ARE BALLS AT THIS. On the most surface level, everything is really disorganized! Sure, knights show up to explain stuff, but half of them don't really know answers or don't know all of the answers. People keep telling him to go ask a Personae but he seriously SHOULD NOT HAVE TO. Having an honest and up front source of information that answers all relevant questions should be a GIVEN when you are KIDNAPPING PEOPLE FROM THEIR WORLDS AND STEALING THEIR MEMORIES. If this was done properly, it would spare a lot of grief caused (he thinks) for new arrivals, because once you do understand everything/most things it is obvious (to him) that certain things needed to be done and even if it is balls there isn't much choice but to throw your lot in.

But instead people have to ask knights, MULTIPLE knights because they all seem to know different things, and very quickly hit a wall of 'idk go talk to a personae'.

Then there is the fact that Beauty and Mal won't really combine forces even in the face of literally THE END OF THE WORLD, and Mal is apparently doing petty shit like trying to get Beauty's knights. Neither of them can stop games that involve death, though Elliot SUSPECTS THEY COULD if they actually WORKED TOGETHER. And he has to listen to some bullshit about undefinable 'laws' that decide how things must be!

So basically while at the foundation he gets it, in practice it's like when you start a new job and realize that maybe you are doing something important but also your upper management sucks and it could be done SO MUCH BETTER if they got their heads out of their asses1!!!

....yes, actually. Their second thread went a very long time and established Sugata as like THE ONE PERSON SOUYA COULDN'T DEAL WITH THE WAY HE WANTED. Also Shigure and I usually have characters in a relationship, so while that isn't any INTENTIONAL bias, I do know we sort of... float the same way, as it were.

I WASN'T SURE IT WOULD HAPPEN cuz Souya is very sexual and Sugata is not very sexual at all and Souya had a lot of issues on the subject but I could tell where things were headed very quickly.

She isn't happy with it. While she is grateful that what she thinks is her brother is here with her, there's still the issue of lost memories and having to play in games that may or may not be terrible if there's any hope of getting them back. And the monsters. SO SHE IS UNHAPPY WITH THAT PART but that's not really surprising.

She's kind of worried about the state of Turquoise too. She's already learned that she and Ikki both arriving means someone else on the team must have been lost to the darkness/book, so she's concerned about how the rest of Turquoise will see them in the long run. And then there's Riku! Who she's heard has technically left the team and is no longer staying with them. This is obviously a team with some problems. 8|a

And then other people! She's really only met a few knights and then Kazu, all of whom were helpful in one way or the other. She has a more positive/hopeful impression of people outside her team than in it (which isn't to say that it's NEGATIVE!!1, just uncertain and mildly wary).

So overall, hates the setting, uncertain about her own team, has good amount of faith in the knights to be capable and in Kazu to help them out when it's needed.

How is Elliot doing right now?

Hmm... it's really hard for me to say. Right now he really WANTS to be Dawn, but in canon Luke basically actualizes, and subsequently has a much stronger personality than Dawn does. I think it will divorce further for a while? Particularly since a lot of Luke's memories are just SO MUCH SHIT, but as he gets more of them and pieces the story together it will become more personally important to him, and as he relearns many of his canon lessons they will come together again. He may or may not continue to go by the name Dawn, but I think he'll eventually recognize 'Luke' as just an earlier portion of his life rather than an entirely different person. Not unlike looking back on your teenager years and going "lolo 8D;;;;"
