A friend of mine, who I have since fallen out of contact with, was REALLY INTO IT and kept trying to get me into it. But failed because... Tales is not really eyecatching if you provide links, and frankly I wasn't a big fan of the art to start, nevermind the sprites. Basically all I saw was "none of these characters are pretty or very interesting to look at and Final Fantasy is SO MUCH PRETTIER than this" and when she linked to me 'good' moments of the game it... didn't work. Like she linked me to Guy's AMAZING GUY intro. But when you don't know the characters and haven't gotten used to the style and pacing of the game, it's just very... slow and kind of jerky and weird.

SO. I was like eehnnn it's money and I'm not sure. So she bought it for me for my birthday and I was like well okay. I will give it a shot.

And then idk I loved it to death WHOOPS.

FOUR (five?) YEARS LATER still Aviy's favorite RPG and proooobably my favorite game ever.
