Soooo even tho luke does have a crush on Acedia that is really a footnote to his huge semi-unhealthy obsession that mostly stems out of YOU REMIND ME OF VAN.
Which puts Acedia in the unique position of you really can't get rid of him. I mean, you could eventually beat him thoroughly enough that he would not bother you a whole lot, and might even leave Ruby, yes. But you can't make him love you any less aaaand the more you hurt him, the more he is going to focus on you. It doesn't mean he will make ALL THE BAD DECISIONS. It's just that Van effect of I MUST SAVE YOU1!! I CAN NEVER GIVE UP!!! combined with I have no value anyway so there is no reason to protect myself from this \=D/
So no his feelings haven't really changed. The emotional info dump was very upsetting. And 90% of Luke's sad right now is fear that he will show Acedia he loves him and it STILL won't be good enough and that would break his heart to a level that would be difficult to bounce back from. Buuuuuttt overall no not really he feels about the same only to a slightly higher level.
