I have MIXED OPINIONS on the MI theory, mostly that it is a good idea but still rather incomplete (why isn't there there a category for color and aesthetics?) but it's an interesting exercise!

Some additional thoughts:

Elliot: He is technically a bright boy, just has... blind spots. Despite being SUPER LOVABLE and a huge help to the people around him, I think he is actually really terrible at interpersonal skills. But his intrapersonal is REALLY HIGH and he relates stuff back to himself. I.E. the reason he yelled at Oz about fuck self sacrifice was because his brothers did that and DIED and it was TERRIBLE and FUCK YOU FOR THINKING LIKE THAT AND HURTING THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU LIKE I WAS HURT. But if he hadn't HAD that experience he probably wouldn't have known what to say to Oz. And he wasn't at all sympathetic with Oz's VERY REAL existential issues like someone who is. actually empathic and good at reading people would've been. He IS a pretty good judge of overall character, but that's pretty much his only interpersonal positive, and even then he has giant blind spots and he misses basically all of the nuances.

Luke: LUKE IS DUMB. In... the traditional sense. HOWEVER, there are a lot of factors to be considered too. Like the fact that he is 8, and for seven years he was too upset about being an unloved amnesiac to really try. Given that in less than a year he goes from being a HORRIBLE WRETCH who killed thousands of people and DENIED IT and lost his shit and made his entire party reject him to becoming one of the nicest characters ever who has personally helped just about every member of his party through Some Deep Shit and ultimately finds the meaning of life and a sense of self despite being a replica and my entire life was a lie and my most important person created me just to use me and throw me away and doesn't even recognize me as human, plus a dozen or so STILL TERRIBLE but NOT QUITE AS TERRIBLE revelations... Luke really does increase both his self understanding and his personal relationships in huge leaps and bounds. So thus the high scores for inter and intrapersonal intelligence. He also is shown to learn things pretty quickly if people tell him (highish linguistic). There isn't a definition between reading and hearing, but assume Luke falls on the side of auditory learning there.

Tide: TYPICAL BEAUTIFUL SMART ATHLETIC ~PRINCE~ type. He's really good at the general intelligence areas you think of as having to do with 'smarts'. So he gets good grades and is great and sports and CLEARLY AMAZING AT EVERYTHING, RIGHT? But then with anything that involves socializing or relating himself to the world he's just like "...derp". 8D; He GETS BY really well because he is very chill and confident and mostly doesn't care that he sucks at people! He has a laid out 'role' for himself and can do that really well. But if you take him outside of that he gets turned around quickly and kind of fails out.
