Dawn:
So Dawn's life lately is just constant high-highs and low-lows, back-to-back. Which! Is okay, actually. Once Luke finds his sort of emotional coping zen, he can emotionally go from a 2 to a 10 on the sadness spectrum and back. Or rather, he can sit at a 8-10 and act like he is at a 3-4 as long as he isn't specifically fixating on whatever he is upset about. This is why he could do okaayish in the game, can go around talking to people normally, and basically be his usual self as long as he is around people! Right now Acedia is the only one who has seen him just emotionally crash, and for the most part Dawn is going to stop letting him see that too, though it will still be pretty obvious since they sleep together.
Anyway. The GOOD NEWS IS, Acedia loves him and actually acts like it, and they are having sex, and Dawn pretty much has free rein to cuddle/pet/make out with Acedia whenever he wants. Siiiince he is direly in love with Acedia it's actually a huge emotional support to him. Also Acedia isn't dead! And Acedia isss being pretty sane lately? And gosh most of Dawn's good feelings lately are couched with Acedia I'm sure that's perfectly healthy. The BAD NEWS IS, he got back his Akzeriuth memory, he made the choice to kill part of Three and got three and got the wrong one, and he found out he has things in common with KK that he never wants to have in common with anyone ever. He's also just feeling kind of awk in general around teammates who aren't Acedia, because the closer he gets to Acedia the more obvious it becomes to him that he isn't as good with the rest of his teammates.
So yes, basically don't be terribly surprised if you play with Dawn and he seems to have random moments where all of the energy just drains out of him, or he gets stuck on a really hard self-hating binge. IT'S NORMAL. For the most part, though, he will contain his misery to either A) when he isn't around people or B) at night, when he largely can't help it.
Offscreen Update:
-Dawn wears the Akzeriuth memory ring all the time now. It's on his right, middle finger, and he will twist it or rub it otherwise toy with it when he's thinking about Akzeriuth too hard/generally just being miserable.
-His cooking is getting better! Food now more often tastes pretty okay or even good! This is a mix of having proper tools and doing the cooking every day.
-Works out/practices with his sword regularly. Usually after he first gets up.
-If you SEE DAWN ON HIS OWN for more than like five minutes you can safely assume he looks pretty depressed. This will generally disappear as soon as he is around anyone though.
Sleeping (Mooostly applies to Acedia cuz I don't think anyone else is awake for it)
-Fooor the next couple of weeks his sleeping will be super fitful/sporadic/generally bad. He will be more prone to dozing in short segments than truly sleeping. It's not so much nightmares (though there are those) as just having too many feelings to actually relax enough to sleep.
-Will periodically have breakdowns of crying/shaking/hyperventilating etc while not sleeping over the next couple of weeks.
-Will largely just be going sleepless, instead of dozing in trees like he normally does when tired.
-If Acedia isn't in his bed at night for some reason when he can't sleep, he will probably take his sword and just go for a walk and maybe kill some things. (But he kind of won't do this a lot because killing monsters as emotional catharsis makes hime feel kind of shitty if he thinks of it that way >.>;)
-AFTER the next couple of weeks, when he has had a chance to settle and get used to his new level of suck, he will still have nightmares and may still have break downs now-and-then but largely will be able to sleep for a couple of hours at a time and will go back to supplementing his sleep with tree dozing during the day.
Elliot:
Sob. God idek. I guess Elliot is mostly the same with everyone but Vincent, and once he gets those feelings under control he will be the same as ever. However, talking with Vincent kind of nailed in a lot of the reality of 'I am dead and I am never going home'. He's realized that, unless Reo comes to Aather, he will never see him again. Vincent isn't telling him about what happens after he dies, and the implication he got is that Vincent never will. He isn't exactly mad about that, because he realizes in a way it is none of his business. But it's none-the-less quite upsetting. He's hoping Reo is all right, that everyone is all right, but even though he factually acknowledged that his past was behind him and he couldn't touch it anymore, it wasn't until talking to Vincent that the pressure of that really started weighing on him.
Note enough for an off screen update buuut: Elliot has his piano playing skills and a magical keyboard! He spends several hours every day playing piano/writing music in his room. So it shouldn't be a surprise to Sterling to hear music coming from there. He does not play at dawn/dusk out of respect for the sleeping. If asked he will say that he will perform for others when the song is done =T (which is to say whenever Aviy is up for an elliot post).
Lucifer:
Lu...ci...fer... is. Making fri...en..ds...?
I. (unsure)
I honestly. Didn't expect him to warm up to Peridot as fast as he has. I mean. UNDERSTAND. Friend is not the word he would use. Friend is not even exactly appropriate as a concept. It's more like 'vaguely interested in'. Because uh, I mean. He would still kill them all if he had reason to? And he will absolutely never care what they think of him. But he does take some kind of pleasure/interest in most of their company. The only one he continues to have no interest in is Ven, but all the others are either positive or... potentially positive?
Basically I think I underestimated what Lucifer might be like without the (admittedly HUGE) influence of life as an angel, and all of the assumptions/expectations placed upon him at his creation. Souya pointed out that his big thing is 'free will' whiiich, honestly Lucifer has never thought about, because it's just a thing? It's like saying "My big thing is oxygen", like no shit man. And he has trouble understanding the idea that humans all have free will but don't live as if every choice is their own (this is part of why the whole auto team/family/friends etc thing doesn't work for him: if he has not personally CHOSEN to be those things then he is not those things and fuck whatever color his jacket is). But, having that pointed out to him does help clear up some of the differences between himself and everyone else that he was having trouble understanding. And he doesn't yet have that knowledge that in HIS world, actually no one has free will because FUCK GOD. And that whole fuck god issue is like a huuuuuuuge part of his everything in canon! It's his motivation for most of his bad behavior and a lot of his aloofness, because it became basically the center of his being. Without that, he's... more normal, really. Which! Is still pretty abnormal. But it's closer to a Kira baseline than a Lucifer baseline: he's living among humans, has no overriding goals, or any particular reason to like them, but nor does he have any particular reason to dislike them. He's pretty much at an aloof neutral but things are still free to go where they may.
ANYWAY YAH. Lucifer is thinking a lot and generally trying to observe and understand things. Souya has been helpful in this regard. He's slooowly figuring out that trolling people is more interesting than not trolling them? But he doesn't really have a boner for it yet. And I guess there are some vague sexual things in Beato's direction.
Offscreen Meme:
-Has to be reminded to do things like sleep or eat. It's not just that he is IMPERVIOUS TO PAIN he is pretty much bad at paying attention to physical needs. He will eat when the team eats and sleep when the team sleeps but you won't catch him doing these things independently and if he isn't around for dinner he just will forget to eat.
-Sleeps super lightly. No you will not be able to get away with drawing on his face or anything else
-Explores Aather regularly, and will take a walk around the place after every game to figure out the new unlock
-Likes to hang out on Peridot's roof
-Generally dislikes being inside with everyone and will pretty much only do that at dusk/dawn.
-Has no body shyness or sense of privacy so I guess anyone who wants to has seen him naked when he changes
-Will bathe once a day
-Doesn't help with...anything... \=D/ Gil likes chores so Gil gets all the chores
-Will probably start spending a lot of time at the library absorbing info and may just not come back at dusk/dawn semi-regularly.

Not being inside with everyone is actually kind of a relief for me on an OOC level, because Ven is basically going to be avoiding the shit out of Lucifer, and that'll make it easier to avoid him and still see anyone else ever.
That is all I have to say to you right now, mister stupidface. :P Also I need to thread with Luke. Badly. For about twenty different reasons. Though I barely have time until Sunday.

Also . . . Haha, Vince kind of wishes Elliot would stop taking memories. It's going to get a little rough.
